Kassem Hojeij and the Magnetic Field Shielding Jabal Amel

Researcher and historian Kassem Hojeij, head of Deir Antar Municipality, asserts that a magnetic field between Deir Antar and Maharouna in southern Lebanon protects the entire Jabal Amel region from earthquakes and aftershocks.

In a statement covered by various international media outlets, Hojeij explained:
“These magnetic fields disperse seismic energy caused by tectonic plate movements beneath the Earth. They shield Jabal Amel from the negative repercussions of earthquakes, aftershocks, and lightning strikes.

The magnetic fields also protect people from lightning, a unique blessing shared by Jabal Amel and parts of Palestine.”

Hojeij noted a particularly rich magnetic field stretching from Tibnin to Acre, emphasizing its importance to the region’s natural safety.

“Calls for Resource Protection”
Hojeij urged the Lebanese government to safeguard its natural resources, including oil, gas, water, and precious metals, stating:
“The imperialist agenda aims to seize Lebanon’s and the Arab world’s wealth, alongside looting artifacts and erasing Arab and Islamic cultural heritage.

This was evident in the U.S. invasion of Iraq and the aggression against Syria.”

Hojeij also stressed the need to establish an astronomical center in Lebanon to monitor earthquakes and tremors according to international standards.

“The Role of Traditional Knowledge in Discoveries”
Hojeij expressed frustration with the government’s neglect of Lebanese researchers and experts, explaining:
“A researcher does not need to hold academic degrees to make valuable contributions.

There are forms of traditional knowledge, such as folkloric history, memory, and innate abilities gifted by God to certain individuals. These allow them to instinctively locate groundwater, valuable minerals, and archaeological sites.

Such knowledge is not exclusive to academic institutions but is part of humanity’s legacy of exploration and discovery.”
